The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announced that, following the company’s request, it will temporarily suspend the trading of CP AXTRA Public Company Limited (SET: CPAXT) from 20 September to 2 October 2024 for the purpose of the preparation regarding the allotment of shares of NewCo to shareholders of CPAXT and Ek-Chai Distribution System Co., Ltd. (Ek-chai) as well as other relevant arrangements that are required in connection with the listing of securities of NewCo in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Additionally, the Thai stock exchange noted that there is information about the Amalgamation which might affect investors investment decisions. SET requires investors to carefully monitor news or information which has been released through the SET’s information dissemination system for making investment decisions.
Following the amalgamation, CPAXT will change its securities symbol to CPAXTT, which will be effective from 20 September 2024 onwards.
