Thai Retail Stocks Rise Following the Kick-Off of THB10,000 Cash Handout

At the end of the morning session on Wednesday, the share price of Dohome Public Company Limited (SET: DOHOME) jumped by 1.87% or THB 0.20 to THB 10.90, with a trading value of THB 93.61 million.

Home Product Center Public Company Limited (SET: HMPRO) rose by 2.86% or THB 0.30 to THB 10.80, with a trading value of THB 252.62 million.

CP ALL Public Company Limited (SET: CPALL) increased by 1.52% or THB 1.00 to THB 66.75, with a trading value of THB 1.42 billion.

Siam Global House Public Company Limited (SET: GLOBAL) grew by 1.99% or THB 0.30 to THB 15.40, with a trading value of THB 75.31 million.

Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (SET: BJC) gained 1.65% or THB 0.40 to THB 24.70, with a trading value of THB 383.21 million.

Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: CRC) surged by 0.75% or THB 0.25 to THB 33.50, with a trading value of THB 128.95 million.

Osotspa Public Company Limited (SET: OSP) added 0.42% or THB 0.10 to THB 23.70, with a trading value of THB 64.58 million.

 

Yuanta Securities stated that the Thai government has initiated the disbursement of funds through the THB 10,000 Handout scheme between September 25-30 to citizens holding social welfare cards. This development has sparked positivity in retail, consumer products, and finance stocks, including CPALL, BJC, DOHOME, GLOBAL, and OSP.
