HMPRO reported a net profit of Baht 1,442.00 million in 3Q24, a decrease of Baht 91.13 million or down 5.94%. The decrease was mainly due to a decline in total revenues by 2.73% to Baht 17,012.63 million.
Revenue declined primarily due to an increase in consumer caution in their spending amid economic pressures. Additionally, the impact of above-average rainfall during Thailand’s rainy season and ongoing road construction in front of the HomePro Ratchaprueuk store further contributed to a decrease in customer visits during the third quarter.
Gross profit from sales of goods and Home Service amounted to Baht 4,309.32 million, a decrease of Baht 69.54 million or down 1.59% as compared with the prior year. The gross profit margin as percentage of sales increased from 26.72% in the previous year to 27.05%, owing to higher sales mix of high-margin products, particularly from the Mega Home business.
