SIRI reported a net profit in 3Q24 of Baht 1,307 million, decreased by 16.1% or Baht 250 million YoY. In this regard, the net profit margin was at 13.9%, decreasing from 16.6% in 3Q23. The decrease was primarily from increased selling and administrative expenses and a higher cost of goods sold. The increase in such expenses and costs was partly offset by a substantial increase in share of profit from joint ventures, which surged by 150.7%, or Baht 242 million YoY to Baht 402 million, as well as lower income tax expenses.
Total revenue during the quarter stood at Baht 9,415 million, which was relatively stable compared to the previous year. However, the company recorded a gain of Baht 70 million from the sale of land during this quarter.
