MR. D.I.Y., a leading home improvement and lifestyle retailer, led by Ms. Titanan Sun, Executive Vice President and Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department, expressed their care and commitment to social responsibility on the occasion of reaching over 800 stores nationwide. As part of their initiative, they donated 800 recycled blankets made from plastic bottles, along with funds totaling 100,000 baht, bringing the total donation to over 250,000 baht. The contribution was presented to the Relief and Community Health Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society. This donation is part of the “This Winter, Do Good Deeds for Dad 2025” initiative, and was received by Lt. Gen. Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau.
Mr. Anupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of the Marketing Department of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand said, “This year marks our third year supporting those affected by the cold at the end of the year in collaboration with the Relief and Community Health Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society. In keeping with our focus on sustainability, we organized the ‘Turning Plastic Bottles into Weave Fibers for Winter Protection’ initiative within our organization, through which we recycled used plastic bottles into ‘MR. D.I.Y. Blankets.’ To commemorate MR. D.I.Y.’s milestone of reaching over 800 stores, we donated 800 recycled blankets, along with 100,000 baht in funds, totaling 250,000 baht, as part of the ‘This Winter, Do Good Deeds for Dad 2025’ project. This year, the event will be organized in three main districts of Kanchanaburi Province: Thong Pha Phum, Sang-khla Buri, and Si Sawat. We believe the growth of MR. D.I.Y. is a reflection of the support we have received from the Thai people, and therefore, supporting and assisting communities across Thailand is of utmost importance to us. MR. D.I.Y. remains committed to standing by the Thai people in every situation, helping them overcome challenges, and building a sustainable future together.”
