Mr. Kosol Suriyaporn, Chairman of Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development Committee, Member of the Audit Committee and Independent Director, AP Thailand Public Co., Ltd. (SET: AP), received the CAC CHANGE AGENT 2024 award as one of the property developers in the Collective Action against Corruption from Dr. Kulpatra Sirodom, Chairman of the Thai Institute of Directors (Thai IOD) and Collective Action against Corruption (CAC) which want to recognise listed companies that conduct business with a commitment to good corporate governance, honesty, integrity, transparency, accountability and opposition to all forms of corruption while focusing on expanding transparent business network by encouraging trading partners to join the anti-corruption coalition.
The Collective Action against Corruption (CAC) is an action front of Thailand’s private sector against corruption, an initiative by the Thai private sector to play a part in solving the problem of corruption by focusing on building and expanding a collective action front to create an anti-corruption movement by encouraging companies to set out policies and action plans against accepting and giving bribes as well as all kinds of corruption.
AP Thailand is rated ‘AA’ in SET ESG Ratings by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and ‘A’ rating with a ‘Stable’ outlook from TRIS Rating, reflecting its financial stability through strict financial discipline. The company is able to maintain a debt to equity ratio of 0.73 with confidence in adequate cashflow for long-term operation. In the first nine months of 2024, the company recorded total revenue of Bht 34,780 million and a net profit of Bht 3,727 million as a result of the successful completion of its product portfolio of single detached homes, twin homes, townhomes and condominiums in Bangkok and the provinces.
