This service aims to give Thai people confidence to access to the digital world safely. True Corporation is also preparing to expand with SMS AI Filter notifications and Call AI Filter alerts to reduce cybersecurity risks in all dimensions. In addition, True has partnered with Ascend Money (TrueMoney) to further enhance security for True and dtac mobile customers when making payments through the TrueMoney app, with a three-layer protection system, ‘TrueMoney 3x Protection,’ to detect, block, and stop fraudulent transactions with greater assurance. Moreover, True Corporation continues to collaborate with all sectors, including government agencies such as the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DES), the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), the Royal Thai Police, as well as private sector partners both domestically and internationally, to jointly protect Thai people from cybersecurity threats comprehensively.

Enhancing Cyber Security for All True dtac Customers
Mrs. Sukannee Lertsukwibul, Head of International Business and Digital Enhancement, True Corporation Plc, stated that True Corporation recognizes the serious impact of cyber threats that cause damage to both lives and properties. In 2023, Thailand ranked 4th globally for online scams, and the country faced the second-highest number of scam calls in Asia and the highest number of scam SMS in the region. Most of these scams contain risky links from browsing websites.
To address this, True Corporation has developed a new service, “True CyberSafe” a Cyber Protection System” a modern cyber defense system. True has invested and integrateed advanced AI technology to enhance protection and increase security for users to access to the digital world. The initial phase of this service involves filtering out suspicious links, sourced from global partners in both the public and private sectors, totaling over 100,000 links. Customers will be immediately blocked or alerted if they click on suspicious links receiving via SMS or browsers, allowing them to carefully consider whether to proceed or not.
This service is available for all True-dtac, and TrueOnline customers using home WiFi for free of charge. Customers can use the service immediately, with no registration or application download required.
Investing in Advanced AI for True CyberSafe
True CyberSafe is a cyber protection system developed by True, integrating advanced AI to analyze patterns and behaviors related to links/URLs usages, SMS sending, and phone calls to identify risks from cybercriminals through machine learning. It helps detect and filter suspicious links/URLs by gathering data under the collaboration with government agencies, private sector partners, customers, as well as AI data analytics plus True investments. There are over 100,000 links around the globe in the initial phase, and the database will expand continuously to cover more scam tactics.
Moreover, True CyberSafe complies with PDPA regulations, using advanced artificial intelligence technology to protect customers’ personal data security. The entire AI process enables True to detect irregularities and provide fast, accurate alerts for online threats from cybercriminals. True CyberSafe protects customers from cyber threats in four ways:
- Suspicious Links Protection for True-dtac mobile customers: blocks or notifies customers when accessing potentially harmful websites, either from SMS or browsers
- Suspicious Links Protection for TrueOnline home internet customers: blocks or notifies when accessing potentially harmful websites via web browsers
- SMS AI Filter: alerts customers about SMS that may be sent from scammers, using AI to analyze scam behaviors
- Call AI Filter: alerts customers about incoming calls that may be initiated by scammers, in collaboration with government agencies and private sector partners.
These services are expected to be fully operational in all forms by March 2025.
Partnering with TrueMoney to Strengthen 3-Layer Protection Against Financial Fraud
In addition to developing cutting-edge cyber security technology, True Corporation has teamed up with Ascend Money to offer superior protection against financial fraud for True-dtac customers making payment via TrueMoney app. The “TrueMoney 3x Protection” system provides three layers of security: Detect, Block, and Stop, ensuring enhanced protection from fraud transactions.
360-degree Cyber Protection
Furthermore, True Corporation has extended its efforts to combat cyber threats by taking a 360-degree approach, covering all dimensions. This includes collaborating with the government to implement measures such as shutting down signal towers near border areas to prevent criminals from using the network for scam activities, strictly enforcing SIM card registration, and utilizing AI technology to analyze and detect abnormalities in SIM registrations and usage.
