SISB is investing THB 300 Million into the construction of the seventh school “SISB International Rangsit” with 1,000 seats, built with a 35% lower tuition fee model. The new school is expected to open its first semester in the academic year (AY) 2026-2027.
Mr. Yew Hock Koh, CEO of SISB Public Company Limited (SET: SISB), revealed earlier last month that the company has acquired new 20 rai (32,000 sq.m.) plots of land on Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok road at Thanyaburi district, Pathum Thani province, from Supalai Public Company Limited (SET: SPALI) for the construction of its seventh international school.
Consisting of 1,000 seats, the seventh school will be named SISB International Rangsit with an investment value of THB 300 million. The new school will be using an affordable tuition fee model from the usual THB 500,000-600,000 while maintaining their excellency in the quality of education up to SISB standards.
The affordable tuition fee model is based on the study conducted on the student’s parents and accessibility to private schools within the area. Since there is no private school around the seventh school area, the company is highly confident that the new school will receive a positive response, following the ideal of bringing quality education to its customers.
Initially, the school will open from pre-school up to the fourth year of primary school (the first semester of the AY 2026-2027 around August) and will continue to expand to high school.
The plan to expand the SISB campus in 2024-2026 would open up an additional 2,800 seats, with the construction budget set to be around THB 896 million for the campuses as follows:
- The second phase of Chiang Mai campus expansion, which would increase capacity by 300 seats, the project has been using THB 66 million of the budget, currently the campus has been reopened since February 2024
- The third phase of Pracha Uthit campus expansion which would increase a capacity by 600 seats, with an investment value of THB 250 million, the project is expected to finish in 1Q26
- The third phase of Thonburi campus expansion which would increase a capacity by 900 seats, is divided into two phases:
- The first phase would add 300 new seats, utilizing THB 30 million of the budget, the project will be finished in August 2024
- The second phase would add 600 new seats, utilizing THB 250 million of the budget, the project is currently waiting for a new building code regarding an area per level ratio.
