The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has announced the annual ESG rating for 2024, covering 228 companies, an increase from 175 in 2023. This includes current SET100 stocks that saw changes to their ratings.
New Entries and Upgrades
Some stocks have newly earned ESG ratings: BTG with AAA, TASCO with AA, and DELTA, JMART, KCE, MBK, TLI, TU with A, and JMT was awarded BBB.
Several stocks were upgraded: BBL, BCPG, BEM, CPN, GULF, GPSC, IVL, RATCH, SIRI, SJWD, and TTB from AA to AAA; CENTEL and MTC from A to AAA; AWC, CBG, CK, COM7, LH, TCAP from A to AA; KKP and SAWAD from BBB to AA; and RBF, SAPPE from BBB to A.
Downgrades and Removals
However, some stocks were downgraded: ADVANC, CRC, and PTTEP from AAA to AA; and BDMS, SPALI from AA to A.
In particular, CPAXT saw a reduction in ESG rating from AAA to AA.
IRPC and ERW were removed from the list, with their previous ratings being AA and A respectively.
