Wallapa Traisorat, CEO of Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: AWC), has revealed that recently the company has signed a development and management agreement for two hotels with Hotel Okura Co., Ltd., a global hotel brand, with a total investment value of at least THB 7,600 million.
This collaboration stems from a common vision and a long-time business relationship between both companies. Two hotels would consist of:
- Okura Resort Chiang Mai would be the first Okura hotel in Northern Thailand and the first Okura hotel abroad.
- The Okura Prestige Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel and Spa would be in the center of the Thong Lor district and offer holistic care services.
Both hotel projects reflect a perfect combination between both Japanese beauty and Thai tradition, redefining both luxurious and health care service in Thailand. The collaboration would have a total investment value of more than THB 7,600 million following AWC’s GROWTH-LED strategy, and supporting Thailand as a world class tourist destination.
