Super Energy Books THB 536 Million from Disposing Sunflower Solar

Super Energy Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: SUPER) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that in the Board of Directors meeting No. 11/2024 held on December 23, 2024, the Board has resolved to proceed with the divestment of the Company’s investment in Sunflower Solar Co., Ltd. (SUNFLOWER), a direct joint venture of the Company. The transaction involves the transfer of 27,947,999 shares, representing 10% of SUNFLOWER’s registered capital, to Levanta Renewables (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (LEVANTA) for a transaction value not exceeding THB 536,601,580.80.

The company also reported that the disposal of its investment in SUNFLOWER to LEVANTA was successfully completed on January 13, 2025, with the full payment of THB 536,601,580.80 for the shares. Additionally, the company’s representatives have resigned from their positions as directors of SUNFLOWER and its subsidiaries, resulting in SUNFLOWER no longer being a part of the company’s group of companies.

Furthermore, as previously disclosed to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on July 5, 2024, regarding the progress of the disposal of shares in SUNFLOWER and the provision of financial assistance to non-related party, the Company and its subsidiaries have fully relieved all loan guarantees for the SUNFLOWER group as of December 18, 2024.
