IMPACT Trust looks ahead to a thriving final quarter of 2024, with a full schedule of events and concerts during the peak season. Exciting developments are expected in 2025! The Pink Line Skytrain extension to Muang Thong Thani is set to significantly boost traffic, while the Sky Entrance project – a bridge connecting the Pink Line Skytrain to the IMPACT Challenger building – remains on track for completion this February. Meanwhile, “Paul Kanjanapas” is poised to transform the IMPACT complex into a Smart City, starting with the integration of advanced technology to optimize operations, positioning Thailand as Asia’s top MICE destination.
Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Chief Executive Officer of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. and property manager of IMPACT Growth Real Estate Investment Trust (SET: IMPACT or IMPACT GROWTH REIT), revealed a strong end to 2024, with a significant uptick in activities across conferences, exhibitions, events, and concerts. During the high season, from October to December, IMPACT hosted over 240 events, achieving the highest quarterly space utilization of the year, driven by peak economic activity and increased tourism at year-end. As a result, the company is on track to meet its 25% revenue growth target for FY2024/25 (ending March 2025).
Looking ahead to 2025, there are several key developments expected to further fuel growth. One of the most significant milestones will be the completion of the Pink Line Skytrain extension to Muang Thong Thani, which is expected to streamline access to IMPACT’s conferences, exhibitions, and concerts. With its strategic connectivity to four other train lines, the Pink Line is poised to boost visitor traffic and enhance the overall experience for eventgoers.
In addition, the Sky Entrance project, which will link the MT-01 station (IMPACT Muang Thong Thani station) to the IMPACT Challenger building, is nearing completion. The project involves constructing a connecting bridge and a lobby area on the building’s side. As of now, 90% of the construction has been completed, with the project scheduled to finish in February 2025—aligning with the anticipated opening of the Pink Line extension in May-June 2025. This development is expected to significantly improve accessibility and attract more visitors to IMPACT’s events.
Furthermore, IMPACT is preparing to partner with technology providers to implement IoT solutions for comprehensive management, preparing for the train’s arrival and the anticipated surge in MICE industry activities, supported by economic and tourism growth. The first phase of this initiative will focus on installing smart CCTV systems to manage traffic flow and ensure smoother customer access during events. IMPACT believed that its strong infrastructure, enhanced by technology implementation, and readiness to expand its international customer base would be highlights for this year.
