Takorn Rattanakamolporn, CEO of Ditto (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SET: DITTO), revealed to Kaohoon that the company is confident in winning the contract for the second phase construction of a new zoo at Khlong Hok, valued at THB 4,586.74 million, which continues from the first phase that is under construction.
Takorn remarked that Terms of Reference (TOR), the second phase of the new zoo project, would be announced at the end of this year or early next year. DITTO and its allies are ready for the bid, and they are assured the work will continue unimpeded.
This year, Ditto secured THB 1 billion out of THB 3 billion for the construction of a new zoo in Khlong Hok, Pathum Thani. Furthermore, the company is working on improving the plan for the exhibition area, currently, the company has around THB 5 billion worth of projects under their belt.
Meanwhile, the company’s digital token for mangrove forest was under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) examination, after Siam TC Technology Co. Ltd., a subsidiary under DITTO, filed the listing and a draft for initial coin offering (ICO) at the end of last year.
400 million tokens will be issued at the ICO at THB 1.20 per token, totaling THB 480 million. DITTO expected to receive a greenlight around February, after that there would be a roadshow and the token would be on sale in 2Q25.
The funding from ICO would be used in the revitalization of mangrove forests to sustain the ecosystem, under the mangrove reforestation project to benefit from carbon credit, the project will gain support from the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) in the form of 21,658 rai of area, and the project will be done in collaboration with VSD Consultant Co. Ltd., for a period of 30 years.
The secondary market for the ICO is still in discussion with the biggest Bitkub company in Thailand, while also negotiating with Binance to allow token holders to sell their coins before the end of the contract.
The token project would have a lifespan of around 7-9 years, depending on the extension according to conditions in the offering. The final date for dividend payment is set to be 8 March 2032 or 8 March 2034 if the project is extended to two years.
According to a consensus report, DITTO’s target price is sitting at THB 23 with around 60% upside.
