Banpu Public Company Limited (SET: BANPU) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that its subsidiary, Banpu Next Ecoserve Company Limited (BPNE), has entered into a joint venture agreement with SPI Energy Investment Pte. Ltd. (SP) to establish a new company for investment and development of the District Cooling and Solar rooftop project.
The joint venture established BNSP Company Limited as a holding company on 15 November 2024. The holding company then established BNSP SMART TECH 1 Company Limited, which was registered on 22 January 2024, for the purpose of investment and development of the District Cooling and Solar rooftop project in Thailand or abroad.
The BNSP and BNSP SMART TECH 1 both have registered capitals of THB 3,000,000 divided into 30,000 shares. BPNE is holding 15,300 or 51% of BNSP stake, while SP is holding 14,700 or 49% of the company shares. Meanwhile, BNSP is holding 100% of BNSP SMART TECH 1 shares.
