On Thursday at 10:28 AM (Bangkok time), the share price of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (SET: PTTGC) slumped by 5.88% or THB 1.20 to THB 19.20, with a trading value of THB 460.59 million.
Kingsford Securities noted that following the February revision in the MSCI Global Standard indices, PTTGC and TOP were excluded from the MSCI Global Standard Index and reassigned to the MSCI Small Cap Index, with GPSC and SCGP added in the latter.
Moreover, the MSCI Small Cap Index saw the removal of 11 stocks, such as BSRC, TIPH, DCC, ERW, GFPT, KAMART, PSG, PSH, SAPPE, STECON, and THG. These changes are set to take effect on February 28, 2025.
