JKN Global Group Public Company Limited (SET: JKN) is set to allocate the THB 180 million procured from the licensing agreement for the Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) pageant for the company’s working capital and manage the Miss Universe business.
The agreement was reached between JKN and Miss Grand International (mai: MGI) earlier this week for the MUT pageant. The agreement grants MGI the rights to organize the MUT competition for five years in 77 provinces across the nation.
The funds will be channeled into two primary areas:
- A significant portion of the capital will be directed towards sustaining and expanding JKN’s core business activities.
- JKN intends to utilize the funds to effectively manage the Miss Universe business, which encompasses a vast network of over 130 countries.
The decision to sell the MUT license to MGI was influenced by MGI’s robust team, experience, and financial standing. JKN has completed its business rehabilitation plan and has commenced implementation in the first quarter of 2025.
