Rawee Boonsinsukh, CEO and President of BCPG Public Company Limited (SET: BCPG), disclosed operating results of BCPG and its subsidiaries in 2024 with total net profit of THB 1,819.6 million or a significant 65% increase from last year.
The major contributors were full revenue recognition from the tank terminal in Thailand, a higher share of profit from natural gas power plants in the US, and a more significant contribution from hydropower plants in Laos, including the revenue from the divestment of solar power plants in Japan.
“Full revenue recognition from natural gas power plants and tank terminal completely mitigated the impact of an absence of adder from solar power plants in Thailand,” said Rawee.
In 2024, BCPG expanded its green territory to Vietnam with a 99-MW wind farm. The Company is now undergoing the acquisition of the project, which is expected to be completed by the first half of 2025.
“This year, we plan to start commercial operations of two new projects, namely, a 600-MW Monsoon wind power project in Laos, which will start electricity sale to Vietnam immediately, and a District Cooling System project in Samyan Smart City, which will recognize revenue by this year as well”, added Rawee.
BCPG’s Board of Directors meeting on February 20, 2025, approved the interim dividend payment to shareholders from the net profit in the second half of 2024 (July 1 – December 31, 2024) at the rate of THB 0.18 per share. Combined with the previous interim dividend payment for the first half of the year (January 1 – June 30, 2024), the total interim dividend payment in 2024 was THB 0.28 per share.
The Company will inform shareholders who have the right to receive the Record Date’s dividends (XD) on March 6, 2025. The dividend payment date is scheduled for April 22, 2025, after the shareholders’ approval at the AGM.
