Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (SET: EGCO) or EGCO Group confirmed the completion of the sale of its 100% ownership interest in Boco Rock Wind Farm Pty Ltd (BRWF), the company that holds a 113 MW wind farm located in the state of New South Wales, Australia, to Tilt Renewables, a renewable company in Australia.
Dr. Jiraporn Sirikum, President of EGCO Group, said, “The transaction of the sale of 100% ownership interest in the BRWF between Millennium Energy B.V. (Millennium), a wholly owned subsidiary of EGCO Group, and Tilt Renewables was fully completed on 7 March 2025. This marks the withdrawal of EGCO Group from the BRWF. The divestment in the BRWF follows EGCO Group’s “Triple P” strategy to emphasize portfolio management for asset recycling to reinvest in new projects with higher growth potential that create long-term continuous growth.”
EGCO Group continues to focus on expanding power generation capacity both domestically and internationally. This will include natural gas-fired power plants, which are crucial for energy security during the energy transition, as well as renewable energy plants, with an aim to increase renewable energy capacity up to 30% of total power capacity by 2030.
