Sithidej Mayalarp, Chief Executive Officer of Sky ICT Public Company Limited (SET: SKY), shared with “Kaohoon” that the SKY Group anticipates notable growth in 2025, driven by diverse business expansions.
Particularly, the aviation sector, a primary business under SKY ICT, is poised for organic growth due to an increase in global passenger numbers. Asia, in particular, sees more travel compared to Europe and surpasses the global average, allowing Thailand to welcome more tourists.
According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), 2025 is expected to witness more than a 10% increase in tourist inflow, alongside a noticeable rise in passenger numbers entering and leaving the country.
This growth is likely to boost SKY ICT’s revenues from projects like the Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) and the Advance Passenger Processing System (APPS).
Currently, SKY Group’s backlog stands at approximately THB 23 billion, expected to be realized over the next six years. In 2025, the firm anticipates recognizing over THB 3 billion in revenues from this backlog, starting from 1Q2025.
Additionally, the group sees opportunities to sign new projects with both public and private sectors to augment its backlog. Regarding mergers and acquisitions (M&A), SKY is evaluating an investment in an AI company, estimated around THB 30 million.
Pro Insight Public Company Limited (mai: PIS), SKY’s subsidiary and a newly listed company on the stock exchange on January 20, also shows growth prospects. PIS works on government projects, such as developing technology platforms for the Ministry of Public Health, moving cloud services to NT Cloud, and development of cloud platforms under PIS. The expansion of ERP in government sectors also further supports SKY Group’s robust growth.
Meanwhile, Metthier has increased its security and housekeeping staff to meet rising private sector demands, projecting clear growth in 2025 compared to the previous year.
PIS expects to sign project contracts worth at least THB 3 billion baht in 1Q2025, among those coming from bids on government projects across various ministries as they announce annual budgets. These developments point to potential growth for PIS and reinforce SKY Group’s ongoing expansion.
