The share price of SKY ICT Public Company Limited (SET: SKY) rose 5.2% to THB18.00 per share during the morning session on Wednesday following the announcement of FTSE Thailand rebalance and prospect of winning the bid for AOT’s ground service and cargo project.
SKY ICT along with CCET, EA, IRPC and WHART will be included in the FTSE Thailand Index Small Cap Segment, effective at the close of trading on March 21, 2025. Meanwhile, there are reports that AOT Ground Aviation Services Company Limited (AOTGA) has acquired a bidding envelope on March 13, 2025, to participate in the bidding for the ground service and cargo projects at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The two projects are worth more than 60 billion baht.
AOTGA is a subsidiary of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (SET: AOT) holding 49% of shares, while SKY holds 51% in AOTGA through SAL Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Meanwhile, SAL Group (Thailand) Company Limited comprises SKY ICT Public Company Limited (46.8%), Triple I Logistics Public Company Limited (SET: III) (33.20%) and My Boxes Company Limited (13.60%).
