On mid-Friday, TMBThanachart Bank Public Company Limited (SET: TTB) and Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited (SET: KTB) released a statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand, clarifying the ongoing rumor regarding a merger between the two companies.
Both companies stated that they do not have any initiative or intend for a merger. Additionally, TTB has affirmed that the company does not have any merger deals with other banks in its five-year business plan.
