B.Grimm and Proud Group Host Beach Polo 2025 Charity Event

B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM), in conjunction with Proud Group, InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, and Bluport Hua Hin, is organizing the high-profile “Intercontinental – B.Grimm Beach Polo 2025” royal cup event, a notable charity beach polo competition in Asia.

The event took place on Saturday, March 29, at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Prachuap Khiri Khan, with proceeds supporting the “Gam Lang Jai” project under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, aimed at helping male and female prisoners acquire sports skills and reintegrate into society.

The Beach Polo is the biggest and only beach polo competition in Asia, now in its 14th year, with support from government and private sectors, including the Equestrian Association of Thailand, the “Gam Lang Jai” project, and Prachuap Khiri Khan Province Authority.

Hua Hin, a world-class tourist destination known for its picturesque beaches suitable for equestrian events, has continuously hosted this prestigious international sporting event. The beach’s expansive area and the sport’s popularity among celebrities make Hua Hin the ideal location for such a competition.

Beyond promoting polo as a recognized global sport, the event also seeks to enhance Hua Hin and Thailand’s tourism appeal to international visitors and spectators.

Dr. Harald Link, the event’s chairman, CEO of BGRIM, and President of the Equestrian Association of Thailand, expressed pride in hosting an event that underscores Thailand’s capability to organize international equestrian competitions. He noted the unique challenge of calculating tides to ensure the sandy area is suitable for competition after the tide recedes.

Proudputh Liptapanlop, Managing Director of Proud Group, the leader of Hua Hin lifestyle business with InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, highlighted Hua Hin’s status as a top tourist destination. In 2023, it exceeded revenue expectations with over 44 billion baht and attracted 11.14 million tourists, notably from China and Korea.

The group’s 2024 vision includes promoting Hua Hin through world-class lifestyle activities in sports, music, art, and cuisine, with beach polo serving as a cultural and tourist attraction.

The InterContinental Hua Hin Resort is thrilled to continue as a partner for the 14th year, offering enhanced accommodations and facilities to guests, including upgraded beachfront rooms and amenities like the lobby, fitness center, kids club, pools, and nine restaurants, providing an exclusive experience reminiscent of Hua Hin’s elegance in the 1920s.

Event attendees can enjoy a variety of activities besides the thrilling beach polo matches, including food and drink stalls, charity games, and a fashion show on horseback. The event culminates in a grand parade through Hua Hin, highlighting this renowned tourist destination’s unique charm.
