Thai Stock Market Outlook on 3 April 2025

On Thursday, Tisco Securities expects the Thai market to be volatile after the U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled sweeping tariffs. Thai exports were hit by 36% levy, causing a market downturn.

Dow Jones Future contracted by more than 3%, furthering the pressure on the Thai market.

The stocks that rely on exports were anticipated to be impacted by the tariffs, such as foods and electronic parts.

If Thailand SET Index dips below 1,150, the securities company recommends investors to wait and see before investing.

 

The firm set a resistance level for the SET Index at 1,175 points and a support level at 1,150 – 1,155 points.

 

Yesterday, Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,172.69 points, increased 4.67 points or 0.40% with a trading value of THB 24.95 billion.
