HMPRO reported a net profit of Baht 1,707.38 million, a decrease of Baht 5.46 million or down 0.32% as compared to the same period of the previous year.

Total revenues amounted to Baht 18,654.46 million, a decrease of Baht 133.11 million or down by 0.71%. Revenue from contracts with customers, which includes revenue from the sale of goods and revenue from Home Service, amounted to Baht 17,547.44 million, representing a decrease of Baht 116.40 million or down 0.66% year-over-year.

Revenue declined primarily due to increased consumer caution in their spending amid economic pressures, the reduced E-Receipt spending cap for general retailers, and fewer operating  days in February compared to last year. In addition, the late arrival of summer coupled with March rainfall in several areas, negatively impacted sales of cooling appliances when compared to the same period last year.

Cost of rental and related services amounted to Baht 207.83 million, an increase of Baht 11.47 million or up 5.84%, due to higher utilities cost associated with the expansion of leasable space from the new HomePro stores since 2024.

Selling and administrative expenses (SG&A) amounted to Baht 3,192.43 million, a decrease of Baht 80.90 million or down 2.47% year-over-year. SG&A as a percentage of sales decreased from 18.53% in the previous year to 18.19%. The decrease in expenses was primarily driven by lower pre-operating expenses, marketing expenses, utilities, and repair and maintenance costs. Meanwhile, the increase in expenses was mainly attributable to higher credit card fees, depreciation, and employee-related expenses.

For store expansion in the first quarter, the Company maintained its existing network with no new openings in Thailand or internationally. As at the end of the first quarter of 2025, the Company’s total store count was 94 HomePro stores, 5 HomePro S stores, 30 Mega Home stores, and 7 HomePro stores in Malaysia.
