The Chinese embassy in Seoul said on Wednesday that beginning February 18th, China will once again issue short-term visas to South Korean citizens. This comes after South Korea lifted travel restrictions on Chinese nationals related to Covid last week.
On its official WeChat account, the Chinese Embassy in Seoul announced that from Saturday (Feb 18), it “will resume issuing short-term visas for Korean citizens to visit China, for business, transit, and other private affairs.”
Last month, after South Korea and Japan put Covid-19 measures on travelers from China, where coronavirus cases were growing, China suspended visa-free entry for people of those countries.
