Thailand’s Constitutional Court on Wednesday handed out an order for a temporary suspension of Move Forward Party’s Pita Limjaroenrat, who is a prime ministerial candidate, from his role as MP after accepting the case of him holding a stake in a media company, which could result in an unqualified person to run in a May 14 election.
At the moment, the parliament is in a process to vote for the prime minister.
Pita has 15 days to respond to the allegation in his ownership of the media shares.
