FWD Life Insurance Plc. (“FWD Insurance”), extends an invitation to the younger generation to participate in the “FWD The Futurist 2023” competition, providing a platform for showcasing innovative ideas and offering a total prize pool of 70,000 Baht. Moreover, winners will have the opportunity to represent Thailand in the FWD Springboard X Challenge 2023 at the regional level in Asia. Interested individuals can apply from today until September 15, 2023.

This year, we are excited to launch the ‘FWD The Futurist 2023‘ competition for university students and first jobbers to foster creativity and innovative ideas with the potential to boost industry innovation and join us in our endeavour to change the way people feel about insurance.”
The FWD The Futurist 2023 competition welcomes two groups of participants: undergraduate students in their second, third, or fourth year from any faculty and university, including those pursuing Master’s degrees, as well as recent graduates with less than two years of work experience. Teams of 3-5 members can submit their applications, with 10 teams being selected to attend an online orientation on September 22, 2023. During this orientation, they will gain insights and experiences related to the life insurance industry from FWD Insurance’s executive team. Subsequently, these 10 teams will compete in the final round, where they will present their projects to executives and qualified judges on September 30, 2023.
The winning team will receive a cash prize of 30,000 Baht, the first runner-up will receive 20,000 Baht, and the second runner-up will receive 10,000 Baht. Additionally, there will be two honorable mention prizes, each worth 5,000 Baht. Furthermore, winners will have the opportunity to represent FWD Insurance Thailand in the FWD Springboard X Student Challenge 2023, taking place at the regional level in Asia in October 2023. This competition offers participants a chance to compete for a total prize pool exceeding 6,000 USD, along with valuable regional exposure, networking opportunities, and the potential to join the FWD Insurance team.
