Mr. Kavin Kanjanapas, Chief Executive Officer of BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, and Professor Waiman Cheung, Associate Dean, Graduate Studies of Business School, The Chinese University of Hong Kong signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to award two scholarships to attend The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)’s master’s degree programs at the Faculty of Business Administration for the 2024 academic year under the name “BTS Group Scholarship”. The witnesses of this signing comprised the executive team Mr. Timmy Lo, Vice President of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, BTS Group, Ms. Tida Srichiraratana, Vice President of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, BTS Group, Mr. Kumpol Ruaypom, Chairman of School Executive Committee VERSO International School, Ms. Barbara Li, Senior Manager Graduate Studies of Business School, Mr. Parson Lam, Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Bangkok, and Ms. Teresa Poon, Deputy Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Bangkok. The MOU was signed on the 48th floor of the Eastin Grand Hotel, Phayathai.
Mr. Kavin Kanjanapas said that this signing is one important step for the Company to take part in supporting scholarships for universities abroad. In addition to providing scholarships to school and university students in Thailand, the objective of this scholarship is to provide opportunities for Thai students who are interested in studying the Business Administration major at the master’s degree level in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, allowing them to attend an internationally recognized institution, with hopes of the graduates applying the knowledge gained from the program to further develop Thailand’s economy in the future.
