Ditto (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SET: DITTO) and its subsidiaries published a report via the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) that the company has been permitted to join the Mangroves Reforestation for Carbon Credit with Community Project A.D. 2023 with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources; Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The company has signed agreements to undertake the aforementioned project jointly with additional 40 communities across 5 provinces, including Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, Satun and Surat Thani with the total area of 65,547.74 rai, with the project period of 30 years.
Combined with the company’s allocated area of 21,658.19 rai in the Mangroves Forestation for Carbon Credit Project A.D. 2022 with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources, the areas where the company has already participated in the Mangroves Forestation for Carbon Credit Project A.D. 2023 with 53 communities across Krabi, Chumphon, Trang, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phang Nga, Ranong, Satun, and Surat Thani provinces total of 89,290.31 rai. The company now has a total allocated area of 176,496.24 rai.
