AIS Unites to Alleviate Flood Crisis with Donations and Communication System Provision

Mr.Somchai Lertsutiwong, CEO of AIS, extended support to flood victims by donating 2,000,000 Baht and providing communication systems to the government during the “United Strength, United Hearts” event. The donation was received by Prime Minister Ms.Paetongtarn Shinawatra, along with members of the Cabinet, government officials, and the private sector, with the goal of alleviating the suffering of people affected by flooding in the northern and northeastern regions at Government House.

The flooding situation in the northern, northeastern, and other areas remains concerning, requiring close monitoring due to continuous heavy rainfall. Rising water levels in major rivers, such as the Mekong River, have inundated communities, and while water levels in some areas may have receded, efforts to restore damaged homes are still urgently needed.

AIS has continuously stood by the flood victims in the northern and northeastern regions, ensuring the mobile and home internet network remains operational, extending communication services, and assisting both the public and officials. Additionally, the “Aunjai Arsa – AIS Volunteers” team has been mobilized nationwide to help alleviate the distress of the affected, connecting, assisting, and supporting recovery efforts. They have provided essential supplies, such as drinking water and survival kits, to flood-affected communities.
