MR. D.I.Y. Donates Used Calendars to Support Educational Materials for the Visually Impaired

D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited or MR. D.I.Y., led by Mrs. Panaiyada Liang-Amnuay, Vice President of the Human Resources Department, extended its care to society by donating used calendars to the Educational Technology Center for the Blind, part of the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen.

The donation was received by Ms. Chanidapha Petrak, the Director of the Education Technology Center for the Blind. The donated calendars will be repurposed to create educational materials, expanding learning opportunities for visually impaired individuals.

Mrs. Panaiyada Liang-Amnuay stated that “MR. D.I.Y. is committed to supporting and developing the potential of all groups equally through MR. D.I.Y. Cares, which continuously supports government agencies, foundations, and communities. The donation of used calendars is one of the activities we regularly support annually.

This year, we have collected over 200 used desk calendars collected from our employees. These will be used to produce Braille educational materials for the visually impaired, maximizing the reuse of resources for the greatest benefit. This reflects our commitment to actively expanding educational opportunities for the visually impaired.”

D.I.Y. has been conducting social initiatives under MR. D.I.Y. Cares for over seven years, providing assistance, support, and care to people across Thailand. These efforts encompass environmental, social, and governance principles, aiming to contribute to the sustainable improvement of the quality of life for Thai people and society.
