SIAM.AI CLOUD Launches Thailand’s AI Infrastructure to Drive National Digital Transformation with Sovereign AI

Thai-owned member of the NVIDIA Cloud Partner program unveils NVIDIA-accelerated compute cluster alongside comprehensive partnerships with leading institutions

In a landmark development that signals Thailand’s emergence as a serious contender in the global AI race, SIAM.AI CLOUD has officially launched its high-performance NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU cluster, accompanied by strategic partnerships with prestigious institutions across healthcare, education, and industrial sectors.

The launch event, highlighted by a fireside chat between NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang and SIAM.AI CLOUD CEO Ratanaphon Wongnapachant, showcased Thailand’s commitment to developing comprehensive AI capabilities while maintaining data sovereignty and fostering local innovation.

Groundbreaking Infrastructure and Strategic Vision

At the heart of this initiative lies NVIDIA H100 GPU cluster, positioning the kingdom among the leaders of AI computing capabilities in Southeast Asia. The infrastructure includes the full-stack NVIDIA AI platform, including NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, with plans to expand to next-generation NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs and NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchips.

“As Thailand’s only 100% Thai-owned member of the NVIDIA Cloud Partner program, we recognize our unique responsibility in driving the nation’s AI transformation,” stated Mr. Ratanaphon Wongnapachant. “Our mission extends beyond infrastructure deployment to establishing Thailand’s sovereign capabilities in AI.”

“Thailand’s commitment to AI innovation is exemplified by SIAM.AI CLOUD’s groundbreaking deployment of NVIDIA-accelerated infrastructure,” said Raymond Teh, senior vice president Asia Pacific, NVIDIA. “The SIAM.AI CLOUD infrastructure and technology ecosystem support Thailand’s rising leadership in Southeast Asia and the global AI landscape.”

Strategic Collaborations Drive Innovation

Three pivotal partnerships were announced:

  • A healthcare collaboration with Mahidol University focusing on drug discovery, genome sequencing, and Thailand-specific medical AI solutions.
  • An educational partnership with CMKL University providing students and researchers access to high-performance computing infrastructure and developing next-generation AI talent.
  • A strategic alliance with True Internet Data Center (True IDC), a Charoen Pokphand Group company, to develop AI infrastructure and solutions. The partnership will focus on deploying NVIDIA accelerated computing infrastructure, developing tailored AI models, and offering GPU-as-a-Service solutions, with emphasis on consumer behavior analysis and Customer 360 capabilities.
  • A strategic partnership with Gulf Edge at GSA Data Center to provide locally hosted NVIDIA accelerated computing resources, enabling AI innovations across energy, digital and telecom sectors. A comprehensive MOU between SIAM.AI CLOUD and Gulf is in preparation, leveraging Gulf Group’s businesses to focus on solutions such as predictive maintenance, operational optimization, hyper-personalization and enhanced customer services.
  • Additional strategic partnerships with major industry leaders are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
