Microsoft Thailand Highlights 2025 AI Trend to Empower Thai Workforce

Mr. Dhanawat Suthumpun, Managing Director of Microsoft Thailand, shared his vision for the trend of Artificial Intelligence in 2025, expressing confidence that AI will continue to evolve, becoming smarter and more versatile in its applications. Simultaneously, it will deliver positive impacts and see wider adoption, unlocking employee potential and enhancing organizational competitiveness.

Microsoft has highlighted key AI trends for 2025 to help Thai individuals and organizations prepare for its adoption. These trends are expected to create significant positive impacts for individuals, society, and the nation.

  1. Scaling Laws: AI is expected to advance rapidly every six months due to powerful computing capabilities and the application of advanced techniques to data and algorithms. This progress will enable AI to perform more complex tasks and understand human language naturally within the next two years.
  2. Agentic World: AI agents will become integral to organizational operations, reducing the workload of routine tasks and enabling employees to focus on more important work. In the future, collaboration between humans and AI will become widespread, with AI agents assisting in information retrieval and knowledge access.
  3. Multimodal AI: Data is no longer limited to documents or text alone; it also includes various forms such as images, sounds, and more. AI will evolve to handle diverse media types, making it more beneficial and effective. This will allow AI to process data beyond just text-based.
  4. Data Security: As AI can access vast amounts of data, organizations must be cautious when sharing information. Microsoft recommends four strategies for preparing data for AI: data awareness, data governance, data protection, and data loss prevention. These steps will help alleviate concerns and significantly reduce data risks.
  5. Responsible AI: AI must be used ethically and fairly, ensuring it is applied creatively to benefit everyone in society.

AI has already become a part of everyday life, and Thai organizations must recognize its importance in improving workflows and business models. The keys to successful AI integration are executive support, a clear AI strategy, the right tools and skills for employees, and effective control measures.

According to International Data Corporation (IDC), 60% of organizations worldwide plan to integrate AI into their business models within the next two years, with industries such as education, healthcare, and finance leading the way.
