Twitter Inc. asked some of the employees who were laid off on Friday to return to the company, according to reports from Bloomberg.
Twitter laid off roughly half of its staff, including the trust and safety team, following Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition in October.
The report stated that some of the staff, who were laid off by mistake, have experience and work that may be necessary to build the new features Musk envisioned.
Twitter updated on Sunday, with its app in Apple’s App Store being charged $8 per month in some countries for sought-after blue check verification marks, Musk said on Twitter. This is the first major revision of the social media platform.
